This weekend Los Peluqueros club organised a cycling race to a mountain where we usually "train" on. We wanted to participate this year. In the morning we run strava on our mobiles, but Chris had some problems. Something happened and the application could not find GPS. We stopped, fixed it and continued the warm up.
During the climb I suffered terribly, but I kept fighting. People supported me so much that I could not say it was not my day. A boy who was in front of me was looking every minute or even more often and shouting: "Come on! You can do it!¨ In the end he left me but he helped me a lot, I got my best time - around 18.30. Thank you very much. Do you know why I say around? Because my strava did not record anything at all.
The top men did something extraordinary, they went beyond 15 minutes - for me this is a result made by a flying cyclist ;) Christopher laughed, he finished fourth in general, that he has 10 new followers on strava after the uphill ;)
Yesterday I wanted to climb there once again on Chris's wheel. He was in front of me, but almost every time when he changed his pace I was behind trying to catch his wheel. At the end I was so tired, that I could not speed up on the flat part and I finished with time of 19.30. I need to improve, because not every person will go at my rhythm screaming and encouraging me. Krzysztof did what he could, but my physical and mental weakness yesterday did not allow me to achieve the goal. I am sorry.
Additionally my application did something strange and I could not find the results. On the web site they appear, but in this feed no. I do not get it.
Today I wanted to fight against myself, so I went to the mountains of Malaga and went up to the hill called the Queen (la Reina) from two sides. Everything is in your head, so it is so important to think you can and then it will be much easier.
I would like to say thank you to everybody who helps me and believes I can, without your support I could not do the things I have been doing recently :)
You can find more photos from the party in the gallery.
