crust pear and plum pie
Friday, February 03, 2017I don't like to do the same thing for a long time, so if there is any excuse I try to do new tings or at least change something, it this case it was just a simple recipe. At the market, there are available sweet and juicy pears, like the one I used to eat in Poland in autumn. So I've baked a simple pear and plum pie.
I recommend eating it just after taking out from the oven. It will warm you from inside not only because of temperature, but it contains cinnamon, meg nut and a pinch of ginger powder. If you want a piece you need to hurry up. Usually after a while half is gone ;)

I took a piece to share with my favourite fruit vendor. Almost every time I go to the market I buy plums, that is a bit extraordinary for him, but I especially like them when it is cold outside or inside ;) As you remember in Andalucia it's not common to have heating. Another strange thing for me is that young generation doesn't bake and avoids cooking. I like homemade food a lot.
